Amtrak Long-Distance Train Performance

Thirty-eight percent of Amtrak's named long-distance trains arrived at their ultimate destination on time or earlier in the month of February. This compares to 52 percent in January, a decrease of 14 percentage points. Much of the blame for the decline in punctuality was due to bad weather, especially in the Northeast.
The average arrival of all long-distance trains in February was one hour and one minute late. The average arrival of only those trains that were behind schedule was one hour and 40 minutes late.
A train is considered arriving late without grace allowance. A train arriving one minute late is shown arriving one minute late, etc.
